Albert Pujols has some back problems yesterday which places him as day-to-day. Scratch all that as it looks like he is in the lineup. Rolen did make the trip but is not going to start today. Yesterday was the first time that none of the MV3 started since June 12, 2002. Our relievers have only given up 3 runs in their last 34 innings pitched dating back to the dreadful 12-4 loss to Pittsburgh.

Jason Marquis (3-2, 5.04) makes the start for the Cardinals today. This is his sixth start of the season. In six games (five starts) against the Astros last season, Marquis was 4-0 and had a 3.22 ERA. When Marquis starts, the Cards are 3-2 this season.
