Cardinals staff and alumni have recieved their rings.
Then the Cardinals' players, coaches, trainers and support personnel who were part of the wild 2006 championship ride fairly bounded out of the first-base dugout before the Cardinals-New York Mets game Tuesday night at Busch Stadium to get their World Series rings — the last, and most striking, of the spoils for the club's 10th World Series title.

Hall of Famers Bruce Sutter, Lou Brock, Bob Gibson, Red Schoendienst and Stan Musial also were presented rings, although their World Series days were well behind them.

Sutter, a staple of the 1982 World Series champion Cardinals and a newly minted Hall of Famer last year, said he was surprised — and flattered — that the Cardinals would give him a 2006 World Series ring.
Star pitcher Chris Carpenter was placed on the DL and Albert Pujols is still struggling to find his swing which proves to show, he's only human.
